EOS Climate is the premier global producer of high-quality, verified emission reductions (VERs) generated from the destruction of ozone depleting substances (ODS) which are also extremely potent greenhouse gases. While ODS are no longer manufactured, they are still emitted by leaky, old air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. As greenhouse gases, (GHGs), ODS are up to 11,000 more powerful than carbon-dioxide and represent a ticking time bomb for our global climate system. Current inventories of ODS are equivalent to approximately 2.5 times the total annual GHG emissions of the United States.

EOS Climate has built a transparent and comprehensive system to collect and destroy ODS. This system enables EOS to deliver high quality emissions reductions to capped emitters in the near term. The system includes:

EOS Climate authored quantification methodology, written to ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas International Standard, which can be used in both the regulatory and voluntary carbon markets.

Strategic partnership with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, the leading ODS destruction facility in the U.S.
