EOS’ Patrick Pfeiffer, along with other experts, lent his expertise to the Climate Action Reserve (CAR) Special Topics Webinar: Purchasing Offsets for Compliance with California Cap-and-Trade.  In the second webinar in this series focusing on the emerging market for compliance offsets under the California cap-and-trade program, the webinar included an updated analysis of the compliance market in California from the perspective of regulated entities in addition to EOS, an experienced provider of compliance offsets.   Representatives from Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) and Shell Energy were also featured.

The demand for offsets continues to be strong, as evidenced by recent requests for offers from California utilities such as SMUD and PG&E, and will continue to strengthen as the market moves closer to its commencement in January of 2013.  EOS looks forward to working with current and future clients to deliver the best possible products for their compliance needs.
