In 2.5 years, co-founder and CEO Joe Madden established EOS as a recognized leader in the North American GHG marketplace securing best-in-class partnerships and building a world-class team of experts. As Chief Business Development Officer, Joe is responsible for business development strategies aimed at scaling EOS offerings and solidifying market position worldwide.

Joe has been interviewed by Trading Carbon, ClimateWire, and Triple Pundit, among other publications, on the interface between science, policy, business innovation and the carbon economy.

Before joining EOS, Joe was a partner in Transgroup Worldwide Logistics San Francisco Division, as well as an integral part of the launch of both LiveNeutral and Advanced Transit Dynamics. Pioneering early efforts in the voluntary carbon markets, he co-developed innovative programs including TransNeutral and LiveNeutral DuPont.

He holds an M.B.A. in Sustainable Management from Presidio School of Management in San Francisco, California, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
